What your day fishing with me will consist of.
Things to Bring
When you spend a day on the water with me, I'll have all your bait, tackle, and boat.
The boat is well equipped to find fish fast.  My Ranger 620 VS is one of the top Multi
Species fishing boat available.  Ranger, which was started by Forrest L. Wood has
been building legends, one at a time.

I use Humminbird electronics, and am powered by an Evinrude to get to the fish fast.
Our goal each day will be to have a great time.  Usually a limit of fish, or some real
trophies that makes our trip a lifetime memory.

Bring a camera, a cooler for beverages, and a cooler for your catch.
You need to dress for the weather, being cold or wet isn't fun, let's hope the sun
shines on us.

When we set a date I'll give you a more detailed list of what to bring and as our date
approaches, I will verify our trip again a day or two in advance.  The first time you'll talk
to me won't be at the boat landing.
THIS YEARS SEASON ENDING FISHING REPORT FROM GREEN BAY
TO BAY DE NOC
.  THE YEAR IN REVIEW.

This season ended too early.  Just like last year I finished before Thanksgiving.  It's
hard to fish when your rod eyes are freezing up from 20 degree temps in the A.M.  All
though the trolling is still good in between the windy days that's pushing wind chills
into the teens.  Yep, better days are behind and ahead next season.

My trips up to Bay De Noc were good but not great as years in the past have been.  It
just seemed as we had to work hard for them.  I did not even limit out once this fall
up there.  The trophies were far and few as well.  If you remember last year I boated a
32 1/2 cow as my last fish of the season.  I put her on my wall.  JAC'S Taxidermy here
in Green Bay did a excellent job mounting that one and a couple others for some
clients this year.  But this November, no 30 inch plus fish.  The biggest was a 28
thats still swimming.  But I did stumble on a school of Walleyes this fall that has me
real excited for next year when I refine that bite.

So What happened over the year for me.  In April I picked up my new rig all decked
out with Hummingbirds, and Minn Kota's.  First fish of the year was a nice post
spawn female that went over 10 without here eggs.  Just mammoth.  But soon after
that I was guiding clients on the Wolf River the rest of April.  We really did well down
there.  A couple of tournaments down there as well with one being the MWC that my
partner and I did pretty well in.  By June I was back on Green Bay with the start of
another phenomenal year of Walleye fishing.  Plenty of guide trips and a couple
tournaments that went well for me.  Although I did fish in a lot of rough water this
year.  It seemed as though the winds blew constantly out there.  By July I had Viking
fans from Minnesota on board over the 4th of July and we had fun.  Limits were
coming in regularly with nice fish.

The Salmon bite wasn't any good for me.  The waters were too cold.  I only made two
trips out there.  One trip we boated six, and the other one only boated two.  With a
good Walleye bite happening and a slow Salmon bite, I was soon back on the bay.

August, September came and the bite shifted some as usual but the limits kept
coming in.  I took my Dad out for a short trip for his 80th birthday and we hit a pod of
fish that had our limit in the boat in a couple hours.  After we stopped with 10 eyes I
shut the engine off to start bringing in lines and we had a quadruple on with not a
boat in site.  This is the school of fish that has me real excited.  Hopefully they bring a
championship up this way again so I can jump on these fish for a possible win.

As I noted in October I was limited to only a few trips as I helped my wife with her
mother and that led me to November and the end of the season.  A couple Musky
trips this November that went well in between the Walleye bite at Bay De Noc, with
one trophy recorded at just over 50 inches.  And that has been my season.

Next year I will  also need to make some rate adjustments.  I have maintained my
low rates through the year even as gas continued to soar. But in a continued effort to
keep my business one that's about fishing, not the money, I promise, that it will not
be too steep of a hike.

Good luck all you hunters and fisher people, be alert and ready to set the hook or pull
the trigger, and bring a trophy home for yourself too.
Maybe I'll see some of you on
the ice.  Happy holidays, see you next year at the end of March.

FEATURED PRODUCTS
OF THE MONTH
at my house
This girl from Tennessee really
enjoyed catching this beauty,
and I really enjoyed having her
aboard.  Her party caught lots
of fish too.
This girl didn't really catch
quality this day but quantity.
We had a limit again and she
and her boyfriend are set with
Walleyes for the year.
A picture of me just out
fishing.  Nothing fancy, just
another 10+ pound pig.  He's
out there yet waiting for
maybe you to catch him.
This is what Green Bay is giving
up mostly, nice 3 - 5 pound
walleyes that taste great.  Limits
like this are common with me.
My Buddy Joel and his wife had
a great day on the water with a
limit of fish like these.  I think
she was out for a tan but really
enjoyed reeling them in.
Then the release looked great.
Looks like a prop might have bit
this Muskies nose.
Scott hoisting up a nice Muskie.
I told his wife I caught it and she
really had fun with Scott then
but he did a nice job reeling this
brute in.
Judy doing all she can to
hold up a couple nice Kings.
This guys on the board twice,
look how much he has grown
since that big Walleye he
caught just above.
Kent with this spring time giant,
way to go Kent.  A much nicer
day in early May.
Jeff with a nice king on a
really nice day.
A special fathers day for Kent,
he fished with Trev and it was
one after another.  Trev just
kept reeling them
Once in a while, on special
request, have a shore lunch.
Serve them hot and crispy with
my special coatings.  Nothing
but good!
Here I've added a photo of a
couple 12 pound plus Salmon.
The fish are not  the magnums
but the fillets will taste great.
This photo of Randy in the #19
shirt has him hoisting a couple
eaters.  He also caught a wall
hanger with me on a later trip.
A young friend catching his
biggest Walleye ever, it's on
his wall.
This little fellow has a Walleye
almost as big as him, he reeled
him in like a pro, nice and easy.
Another buddy holding a
monster, this one we released
for another day, must be
about 12#'s or so.
Next is some friends of mine on
the 75th birthday of Dan.  Do
you believe his wonderful wife
caught that other whopper.
My Rig, a Ranger 620
Tournament series Multi Species
fish catching machine.  If you
don't think the boat helps you
catch fish, think again.
This Dr. from the Tennessee
Titans puts athletes back together
when they break.  Today he was
breaking up a school of Walleyes.
Here are just a few of their limit
catch.  I packed them up and
sent some tasty fillets back to
Nashville for them to eat.
Anthony came up from Los
Angles to catch some
Walleyes.  He needed no help
reeling them in either.
Here is what he caught, nice
job Anthony,  After fishing they
caught a Monday night Packer
game.
